EUGENE– The day after his return from advisory duties on national health policy in Washington, D.C., University of Oregon President Dave Frohnmayer held a productive meeting today with student activists who have made five demands concerning licensing university apparel and methods of university governance. At the meeting, it was decided to arrange an additional meeting for 6 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2000, to continue the discussions.

"I listened closely to what the students were saying, and felt we made good progress today," Frohnmayer said. "I am open to student requests for continued talks on these issues."
