EUGENE--The Oregon Daily Emerald, the independent student newspaper at the University of Oregon, has announced its 1997-98 editorial staff.

This year's editor-in-chief is Sarah Kickler, a junior journalism student of 1211 Bayberry Rd., Lake Oswego. Kickler develops the news and editorial policy for the award-winning paper which circulates primarily on the 17,200-student campus. The paper is published Monday through Friday during the school year and twice weekly during summer term.
