4:45-5:30 p.m. DUCK FANS SHOW THEIR COLORS AT PEP RALLY
Nearly 2,000 University of Oregon football fans will don their green and yellow at a UO Alumni Association (UOAA)-sponsored Pep Rally. The rally will feature the UO Marching Band and Rally Squad, members of the Duck football team and players from the Ducks 1963 Sun Bowl team, UO President Dave Frohnmayer, and Ducks coach Mike Bellotti. The rally is free and open to all UO alumni and friends, as well as to football fans and El Paso families. [Location: Parking lot northeast of Sun Bowl Stadium, University of Texas, El Paso (UTEP)]

BANDS TO DO BATTLE WHILE FANS PARTYThe "Fan Fiesta" features a battle of the bands in which the 171 members of the Oregon Marching Band will perform for hometown fans. The festivities continue through the evening with the musical group "Radio Flyer," followed by fireworks. [Location: Parking lot northeast of Sun Bowl Stadium, UTEP]

UO fans are invited to turn out for a Texas-style breakfast buffet, with a mariachi band and pre-game pep provided by members of the Oregon Marching Band and Rally Squad. Tickets may be purchased for $35 each, $32 each for UOAA members, by Dec. 27. Contact the UOAA at (541) 346-5656. A limited number of tickets are available to be purchased on site for $40 each and can be obtained at the Duck hospitality desk at the Chase Suite Hotel, 6791 Montana Ave. [Party location: Baltimore Field, north of Sun Bowl Stadium, UTEP]
