As if University of Oregon students didn’t have enough to worry about what with mid-term exams looming, it’s also tax time. And who can afford to pay a tax consultant on a student’s income? No sweat. Some fellow students are ready to do the job for them–and it’s free. Members of Beta Alpha Psi, the national academic and professional accounting honors society, will roll out the adding machines on Feb. 19, March 4, March 18, April 1 and April 8. The tax advice will be available only to UO students from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Room 133 of Gilbert Hall, 955 E. 13th Ave. Internal Revenue Service representatives also will be there to answer technical questions.
