EUGENE–Geri Mrazak will conduct a Polaroid transfer workshop at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24, during the weekly MusEvenings! program at the University of Oregon Museum of Art, 1430 Johnson Lane.

The demonstration will involve Polaroid image transfers from slides. Mrazak suggests that guests bring their own personal slides, but slides will be available for people who don’t have them.

To register for the class, call Lisa Abia-Smith, the museum’s director of educational outreach, at (541) 346-0966. Walk-ins are welcome. The $5 cost of the class will cover all materials needed for the project.

Mrzak received her Master of Fine Arts degree in photography and currently teaches photography-related classes at the Erb Memorial Union Craft Center on the UO campus. She also teaches credit classes in the summer.

Following the workshop, museum visitors can hear contemporary guitarist Craig Einhorn who will perform from 7—8 p.m.

The Museum of Art, accessible to people with disabilities, is open from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Suggested admission is $3, except on Wednesdays when the MusEvenings! Program offers free extended viewing hours from 5—8 p.m. Museum members, students, UO employees and children are admitted free.
