EUGENE–"Hope and International Adoption" is the subject of a free public lecture at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10, during the weekly MusEvenings! program at the University of Oregon Museum of Art, 1430 Johnson Lane.

Susan Cox, public policy director at Holt International Children’s Service, will discuss the importance of hope from all perspectives involved in adoption.

Her lecture compliments "Hope Photographs," a traveling compilation of more than 100 photographs, selected because of their seemingly unintentionally captured moments of hope. The exhibition will continue at the UO art museum through March 7.

The UO Museum of Art, accessible to people with disabilities, is open from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Suggested admission is $3, except on Wednesdays when the MusEvenings! program offers free extended viewing hours from 5—8 p.m. Museum members, students, UO employees and children are admitted free.

For information, browse http://uoma.uoregon.edu/ or call (541) 346-3027.
