WHAT The University of Oregon will hold its 124th Spring Commencement with the keynote address delivered by David Schuman, Oregon Appeals Court judge and former UO law school professor. UO President Dave Frohnmayer will preside over the ceremonies in which 3,030 candidates for bachelors, masters or doctoral degrees and 900 fall and winter graduates are eligible to participate.

PARKING Campus parking will be limited and those attending are advised to arrive early.
Free parking will be available in the lots at East 15th Avenue and Columbia Street and East 14th Avenue and Kincaid Street. Free parking also is available at specially marked meters along University Street, Agate Street from 13th to 18th avenues, 18th Avenue from Agate to Alder streets, 15th Avenue from University to Columbia streets, 13th Avenue from Agate to Columbia streets and Kincaid Street from 15th to 11th avenues.

Noon Graduates line up for the processional in front of the Covered Tennis Courts, east of McArthur Court. Graduates will be seated on the main floor.
12:30 p.m. Processional begins for general commencement ceremonies.
1 p.m. Presentation of the Distinguished Service Awards, Presidential Medals, and Herman and Ersted Faculty Achievement Awards for Distinguished Teaching.
1:30 p.m. Commencement address by David Schuman, Oregon Court of Appeals judge.
2 p.m. Conferral of degrees, including individual recognition of doctoral degree students.
2:30 p.m. Departments, schools and colleges (listed on next page) relocate for 3 p.m. ceremonies.
