HEP SPRING TERM 2001 GRADUATES ANNOUNCED

EUGENETwenty-five students will be honored Thursday, June 14, at a ceremony marking their graduation from the High School Equivalency Program (HEP) at the University of Oregon.
The ceremony, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. in the Fir Room of the Erb Memorial Union, 1222 E. 13th Ave., on the UO campus. A reception will follow there.
Federally funded, HEP is an alternative education program for men and women, 16 years and older, who have not completed their high school education but would like to do so. The program, hosted by the university since 1967, gives migrant and seasonal farm worker youths the opportunity to prepare for and take the General Education Development (GED) test.
