EUGENE–The community is invited to an open house in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the University of Oregon Department of Computer and Information Science to be held from
1—5 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, in Deschutes Hall, 1477 E. 13th Ave. at the University of Oregon.

Highlights of the festivities include tours of the CIS building and laboratories from 1—3 p.m. and from 4—5 p.m.; a birthday party with cake at 3 p.m.; and talks by the department’s three founding faculty members from 3:30—4 p.m.
