EUGENE--The University of Oregon Office of Orientation already is preparing to welcome next fall's newcomers with the addition of 14 students to the 1998 ConDUCKtour Orientation Staff.

The newly selected students bring to 33 the total number of students and alternates who will lead campus tours as ConDUCKtour guides.

Stephanie Wilson, UO director of orientation, explains a ConDUCKtour is a student volunteer who provides informational tours of the UO campus to new and potential students, their parents and other visitors. They also assist with special tours and campus ambassador duties.

ConDUCKtours answer questions at the campus tour booth, open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday year-round and located on the first floor of Oregon Hall, 1585 E. 13th Ave. Campus tours, lasting approximately one-hour, leave from Oregon Hall at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, and at 10 a.m. on Saturdays.
