Crosiar (541) 346-3135 EUGENE--More than 600 University of Oregon students are candidates for degrees at the end of winter term, according to officials in the Office of the Registrar. Among winter term's 642 degree candidates are 533 receiving bachelor's degrees, three candidates receiving certificates, 81 completing master's degrees and 26 finishing doctoral degrees. Two others are earning law degrees. No commencement ceremonies will be held. However, several schools, colleges and departments will host informal receptions honoring graduates and their families.
