EUGENE--The University of Oregon Museum of Art's collections are themselves about to become the inspiration and artistic backdrop for student artists of all skill levels.

Beginning April 8, Vicki Krohn-Amorose, a Museum of Art docent and drawing instructor, will lead a drawing course entitled "Museum as Inspiration." Offered through the Maude Kerns Art Center, the class will meet from 6-8 p.m. every Wednesday through May 27 at the UO Museum of Art, 1430 Johnson Lane on campus.

The course will present students the opportunity to enhance their visual perception and appreciation of the visual arts through discussion, observation and sketching from the UO art museum collection. Designed for artist and non-artist alike, the course will challenge students looking for a new environment to inspire and stimulate their creativity.

Registration deadline is April 3, and the class will be open to a maximum of 20 students. Fee is $55 to Maude Kerns Art Center members and $65 to non-members.

To sign-up for the class and for more information, call the Maude Kerns Art Center, 345-1571.
