Saturday, April 10–National Association of Teachers of Singing: Honors Recital

Winners of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), Cascade Chapter, annual competition will give an honors recital at 7 p.m. in Beall Concert Hall. Admission is free and the recital is open to the public.

The chapter’s annual competition includes high school, college and other adult singers of all ages from western and central Oregon and southwestern Washington. The emphasis is not upon selecting one "winner," but on providing constructive criticism in writing to each singer.

Outstanding singers from each division, including musical theater, will perform in the honors recital. The singers also will receive cash awards recognizing outstanding achievement.
