UO STUDENTS AWARDED EDMUNSON/DAVIS SCHOLARSHIPS

EUGENE–Twenty-one University of Oregon undergraduate women were awarded Ella Travis Edmunson and Mercy Travis Davis Memorial Scholarships, in recognition of their leadership and scholastic achievements, during the Spring Family Weekend All-University Awards luncheon on May 20.

The scholarship program administered by the YWCA awards grants, worth $2,500 each this year, to sophomore, junior and senior undergraduate women who have demonstrated potential leadership and superior scholastic abilities and who are in financial need.

Students from Oregon receiving Edmunson/Davis scholarships are:

ALOHA–Thao Do, a sophomore public relations pre-major, 20480 S.W. Celebrity Court.

ALSEA–Tova Moore, a sophomore pre-journalism major, P.O. Box 74.

COTTAGE GROVE–Darcy O’Keefe, a sophomore international studies major,
1500 Bohemia Place.

DEXTER–Corinne Johnson, a sophomore magazine journalism major, 83553 Rattlesnake Rd.; and Bridget Klest, a junior pre-psychology major, 38966 Dexter Rd.

EUGENE–Shirley Chen, a sophomore pre-business administration major, 2905 Timberline Dr.; Amy Graham, a freshman fine and applied arts major, 315 Mint Ave.; Kimberly Jones, a junior sociology major, 90 Commons Dr.; and Brenda Tuomi, a junior educational studies major,
