EUGENEA "Chamber Musicale" by student chamber ensembles, set for 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, in Beall Concert Hall, is the final concert of the 1999-2000 academic year at the University of Oregon School of Music, 961 E. 18th Ave.
Tickets, available at the door, are $5 general admission and $3 for students and senior citizens.
The ensembles will present a varied program that include Felix Mendelssohns "String Quartet in E-flat Major," four songs by Enrique Granados, a pair of cello-piano sonatas by Rachmaninoff and Prokofiev, a violin-cello-piano trio by Beethoven, and "New York Counterpoint," a clarinet choir piece by Steve Reich.
Assistant Professor Gregory Mason, director of chamber music studies at the School of Music, will direct the graduate and undergraduate music students in the performance.
