EUGENE–One hundred University of Oregon student leaders received 2001 Centurion Awards in recognition of their "dedication and outstanding service" throughout the past year.

Centurions accepted their awards during the Family Weekend All-University Awards Luncheon on May 19. Faculty members nominated students for the award, and a panel of faculty, staff and students then selected the award winners.

Oregon residents who received Centurion Awards include:

ALOHA–Edwin Ritash Prasad, a freshman pre-business administration major; and Christa Marie Shively, a sophomore history and women’s studies major.

AMITY–Nicklaus John Affolter, a junior business administration major.

AURORA–Helen D. Stocklin-Enright, a senior political science major.

BEAVERTON–John P. Fillmore, a junior finance major; Paige Marie Gebhardt, a senior English and Romance languages major; Marissa Suzanne Gordon, a junior Italian and political science major; and Jeff Lawrence Oliver, a junior political science and journalism major.
