Hurwit’s lecture, entitled "The Uses of the Past on the Acropolis in Athens," will examine how major monuments from the "Golden Age" of Athens reveal the past within the present by displaying remnants from earlier eras.

This is the first of three "A Touch of Knowledge–UO Public Lecture Series" events planned this year.
