EUGENE–A jazz duo performance and a holiday wreathmaking class await participants in the MusEvenings! program on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the University of Oregon Museum of Art,
1430 Johnson Lane.

Saxophonist Matt Shevitz and guitarist Kyle Sanna will perform jazz pieces from 6 to 8 p.m., while the wreathmaking class will be held from 6 to 7 p.m.

All wreathmaking supplies will be provided for $5, and preregistration is required. To register, call (541) 346-0968.

A nationally accredited facility, the UO Museum of Art is accessible to people with disabilities. It is open from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. The museum suggests a $3 donation, but admission is free during the weekly MusEvenings! program and extended viewing hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays. Museum members, students, UO employees and children are always admitted free.

During the holidays, the museum will close at 5 p.m. on Dec. 23 and be closed Dec. 24—25. It also will close at 5 p.m. on Dec. 30 and be closed Dec. 31—Jan. 1.
