EUGENE--Perennial favorites and recent additions are on tap for University of Oregon alumni and parents of current students during this year's Homecoming and Fall Parents' Weekend activities set Oct. 17-19.

Participants will have a range of choices including the All-Alumni Duck Party and tailgate parties at Saturday's football game. Parents will attend classes with their students as alumni from nine graduating classes return to campus to celebrate their 30th, 35th and 40th class reunions. Also set are campus tours, museum exhibitions, musical and theatrical performances and athletic contests.

The Homecoming Expo, which debuted last fall, will return to a spot across from the alumni tent at Autzen Stadium, 2700 Centennial Blvd. Scheduled from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, the expo will offer visitors Homecoming memorabilia and a UO trivia contest.

"Free admission makes the expo a great alternative to tailgating," says Kelly Evans, UO Alumni Association (UOAA) assistant director for communications. "We invite everyone to drop by."

On-site registration for alumni class reunions opens at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at Valley River Inn, 1000 Valley River Way, and will resume there at 3 p.m. Friday. Fall Parents' Weekend sign-ups will start at 4 p.m. Friday in the lobby of the Erb Memorial Union (EMU), 1222 University St. on campus, and will continue there at 8 a.m. Saturday.

The celebration kicks off at noon Friday with a Homecoming Pep Rally on the EMU East Lawn featuring football coach Mike Bellotti, football players, cheerleaders and Oregon Marching Band members. A student activities fair, sponsored by the Student Alumni Association (SAA), will follow there from 2-5 p.m.

A free Homecoming concert at 8 p.m. Friday will feature music by the University Symphony, University Singers, Oregon Wind Ensemble and Oregon Jazz Ensemble. The School of Music is hosting the concert in Beall Concert Hall, 961 E. 18th Ave.,
