EUGENE——University Theatre has added a new outlet for ticket sales, discounted ticket prices for University of Oregon students and added Sunday matinee performances for each of its Robinson Season plays.

With the addition of the Hult Center for the Performing Arts as a University Theatre ticket outlet, theatergoers now can purchase tickets in three locations–the Hult Center Box Office in downtown Eugene as well as the Ticket Office at the Erb Memorial Union, 1222 E. 13th Ave., and the University Theatre Box Office in Villard Hall, 1109 Old Campus Lane, both on the UO campus.

Tickets for main-stage productions in Robinson Theatre and for Second Season performances in the Arena Theatre will be available in all three locations.

Beginning this fall, UO students can see University Theatre plays for $1 off on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Tickets for the Robinson Theatre plays are normally $5 but will sell to UO students for $4 on Thursday nights, while the Second Season performances, normally $4, will sell for $3 on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Also, University Theatre has added a Sunday matinee performance at 2 p.m. for each of its Robinson Season plays, open to the general public by single or season ticket purchase. The matinee will still be used as a benefit for a local nonprofit agency but matinee tickets also can be purchased on the season ticket plan.

For more information and to order tickets, call the University Theatre Box Office, (541)
346-4191; the EMU Ticket Office, 346-4363; or the Hult Center Box Office, 682-5000.

University Theatre information also is available on the Web at http://darkwing.uoregon.edu/~theatre or by calling GuardLine from a Touch-Tone phone at 485-2000, ext. 2287, for a
24-hours-a-day taped message.
