EUGENE–Homecoming celebrations can do more than rekindle memories of past school days, they also can be about new beginnings.

The Charles H. Lundquist College of Business (LCB) at the University of Oregon will spotlight what’s new at the "Return on Your Education" Homecoming events scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, in the Courtyard of Gilbert Hall, 955 E. 13th Ave.

Returning alumni will get to meet new business college dean Philip Romero and will get a look at plans for a proposed new building expansion.

Romero, who served as chief economist to California’s former Gov. Pete Wilson, will give a short speech during the noon-time celebration.

Refreshments will be served.
