BACKGROUND

Frohnmayer will discuss his vision for a University of Oregon branch campus in Bend. The UO currently offers bachelor’s degree programs in general science and social science in Bend.

A native Oregonian, Frohnmayer is the 15th president of the University of Oregon, the state’s 124-year-old center for liberal arts, science and professional studies. He assumed the presidency on July 1, 1994.
